Dr. Shih-Ping (Eason) Yeh, DVM, CSAVP (Cardiology)
Dr. Eason Yeh graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine National Taiwan University in 2009. Early in his career, he developed a strong passion for cardiology and diagnostic imaging, dedicating himself to advancing in these specialized fields. While practicing in Taipei, he refined his expertise in diagnosing and treating cardiac diseases, providing precise and effective medical care for numerous patients.
In 2015, Dr. Eason moved to Hong Kong, where he worked at a large, high-volume veterinary hospital, focused in cardiac diseases, and ultrasound imaging. In 2017, he began offering mobile ultrasound diagnostic services, and in 2019, he established his own professional imaging consultancy. His services now cover cardiac, abdominal, ophthalmic, and reproductive ultrasonography for over 100 veterinary clinics across Hong Kong. To date, Dr. Eason has accumulated extensive experience, with over 30,000 cases of diagnostic imaging. Additionally, his expertise in electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis enables him to provide better treatment options for patients with arrhythmias.
Dr. Eason is committed to continuous professional development. He has obtained a Cardiology Certification from University of Luxembourg and the European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS). He is also a highly sought-after lecturer, frequently invited to conduct training courses in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Philippines, sharing his knowledge of cardiology and ultrasonography with veterinarians worldwide. His expertise extends beyond dogs and cats, encompassing small mammal species, including rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and chinchillas.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Eason is also dedicated to pet health education. He has authored two books, “The Animal Doctor: Helping Your Pets Live Longer” and “The Animal Doctor’s Consultation Room”, featuring real-life stories of six dogs and six cats. These books provide valuable medical insights and answer 100 common questions from pet owners.
